Yipee!

hehe, it is my 1st attempt to really cook! the fried rice is nt bad at all though the rice is a bit bland in taste but the rest are ok. It is really fun to learn to cook...is like chemistry u mix this with that. haha...and i can tell u that the taste is different when u cook it:)

7/1/08: I had a mini gathering with the scdf interns and it turns out that only 3 of us went out of 5; 1 MIA, 1 busy and only sun is free. so we 3 walk ard suntec from cityhall and walk one round outside the fountain of wealth before deciding on swensens. Had a fish baked rice and a malt chocolate sundae. i love the icecream esp the chocoballs but is not as good as the sundae i had with my bf:P Alas, after eating for 2 hrs, we walk ard marina and decided to go chinatown. The guy said he is meeting his friend later so the 2 of us went chinatown. supposedly i thought we go there and see clothes but she pull out a 15bucks discount voucher for kster so yeah...we ktv at chinatown from 3 plus to 9pm. She had pork satay and I had the peanut + sesame tang yuan in peanut soup (4 for 1.50bucks). Peanut very very nice.... actually i wanted to buy fries but the stupid uncle said one plate 3 bucks...is more ex than MAC lor. Thought i am tourist and i dont know the hang2 qing2 outside?hahahaha.


8/1/08: Woke up at 8.30 and went to clinic at ngee ann city. Was raining when i came out of ngee ann. Took bus 14 and alighted at katong shopping centre. Haha...was lost because i dont know where is Aston and was surprised that Katong shopping centre and Katong plaza is a different place. Muahaha..luckily managed to reach the place by the helpful guidance of my friends :)haha. I order fried fish (as usual i ate fish)....the fries nt crispy though and potato salad i dunlike coz they put 'chong' (the green piece u add in fried rice de) but the fried fish nt bad (the fish is too big and was quite filling though). Really can go there, it is cheap compared to restuarants and the fd quality is not bad.

i was rotting because i really dont have any activities. i was online the whole day until 2plus, swee hong suggested going imm with them (hui xian and her). We met at 4 plus at jurong east control stn. On my way there, at the lrt, i saw my sec sch classmates, debbie. haha...she is the same as usual, talking in a comical way that really make me want to smile. haha. The way she talks is funny. But i was glad that i took lrt instead of bus to cck :) Very long time didnt see her and i didnt have her contacts. When we walk into the mrt, I saw swee hong in the same cabin. haha..so coincidentaly right? maybe that's wat they called fate.
The shuttle bus to imm was very crowded. Hui xian poor thing because she was the one nearest to the door :( It feels like school life where we squeeze into the bus ( they rmbered bus 95, i rmbered bus 963). haha. We went Diaso and bought some things and then went cafe cartel to have our dinner there. We had ribs and pasta and the super yummy brownies. YUM, YUM! Swee hong keeps mentioning the free flow of bread haha..true...the bread is really crispy. Quite nice yeah. Hui xian likes to choose the smaller piece for the ribs..tsk tsk coz she said it is easier to cut. I love the brownies wif chocolate............great!

Then we go to 2nd flr washroom becoz 1st flr's is simply too crowded. On the way there we saw the foot reflexology and we agreed to go and try but in causeway point. so we made our way to causeway and i had a unforgettable experience. I was on the verge of tears and don't know why i thought there is no pain on some areas initially but after he keep pressing with gradual force, everywhere becomes painful....couldnt be my entire body is wrong right? on the other end, i saw hui xian feeling relaxed (like no expression) and swee hong was smsing lor. i think i was the one who has most number of painful expression on my face.....Could be becoz the one pressing it is a muscular guy or could be that i have not endured anything more painful than this before. After the session, i feel that my legs feel weird...haha

On the way back home, outside the causeway pt, we saw walking statues. Swee hong donated some money and surprisingly the statues moved ( we have taken a pic on the statues). I find it quite scary. dont dare to go close to them or talk to them.

This morning, i feel that my 'suaness' of leg is like i have done a lot of P.E (physical education).

it was a wonderful jc class gathering :) Abt 14 of us turn up..hehe...this shows we are still quite close even after 3 yrs..hehe...we went fish and co. at the glasshouse...it was a nice place to have our lunch. I tried the New york fish and chips and it is very filling ( had mermaid freeze...a very nice drink:)) becoz the cheese and butter in the fish practically oozed out...haha...quite fattening but nice. I enjoyed my lunch as we gossip and talk crap. Feeling full, we walk to citylink Through SMU. SMU is a really really nice place. Their sch has the shopping atmosphere and they have escalator, even the ATM machines look nicer. I think i was practically drooling at the design of SMU blding...is so much different from NUS..zzzzz. Then we sit at Spinelli and i had vanilla latte.It is a really nice coffee..next time i will buy it from sch...hehe...and talk crap again....then we shop ard suntec and marina and finally at esplanade rooftop,we sit there and enjoy the breeze and talk crap again....haha...btw, when i walk to suntec...i was thinking...omg last week already go to suntec and marina and esplanade like mad liao...haha...see the shops a bit sian lol.

i am looking 4ward to tmr!!!

I am being optimistic i guess....ystd's departure from him at the airport was a sad event...i was strong, i didnt cry. But, my heart was broken though. 1st time, i feel like i am just an empty shell. Even when i wake up, the 1st thing that comes to my mind is that he has boarded his plane. I hope the new sem ahead can keep me busy so that i won't miss him as much. on another perspective, i should enhance my cooking and handicraft skills so as to surprise him when he came back.... i should be more optimistic...these 6-7 mths would be enough time for me to enhance skills:)

Gambatte! The road is long ahead and this is a HAPPY new yr...of coz i should be HAPPY!

My last day wif my dear.....

we met at 12 plus at bugis station and i arrived just on time (haha...becoz i realise i need to set off earlier from thurs' experiences..coz a long walk from bus stop to mrt station). We ate at billy bombers and ordered the recommended burger and a raspberry fruity freeze. i love the bit sourness of the raspberry..hehe. The burger was really big serving...didnt finish everything though. He gave me the 15 bucks discount voucher for me to use...so kind :). Then we walk ard the bugis junction and nearly bought the learning japanese set in kinokunya that he recommended. But after persuasion, i decide to buy that in borders. Haha....then we went to popular and i bought some stuff. It was raining :( so we only walk ard bugis junction only and then went to cck. There we had a walk from cck to bp. It was a sad departure ( i walk back home while he took lrt)......

A bloated day

The 4 of us went to bugis for steamboat called chong qing. It is surprising that they serve lunch and we ate to our hearts content from 12 till 2plus. Afterwhich we walk to citylink and ate icecream at Gelare....nice icecream. I especially like the chocolate temptation becoz the chocolate is so thick (there is fresh cream, chocolate syrup, kokocrunch, pocky)...haha my friends said it is bitter. Strangely i don't feel any slight bitterness in my mouth. HEHE....wif a bloated stomach, i make a vow....i shall nt eat chocolate icecream very soon......
