Very bored today. Synthesis today was mostly observing again becoz it is a new synthesis step to me but has been done by my sup while i was on study break =( hai!I really do not like to observe but oh well, since this has been done by him and shd have been modified by him, wat can i do. I can only observe and c and p his method of doing it nxt time.haha...my fyp requires too many many many steps! low yield, waste time!
I dreaded presentation but wat to do, haha. Tmr i am going back to sch to see boss and she will comment on my slides.haha see how it goes....coz basically i didnt add more slides; nv include any results in coz lazy to scan in the results and my nmr spectrum is so thick! lazy to screen through lor. Think tmr i will get "reprimanded" by her again. muahaha. Finally duneed to have lunch in wulu lab le! yipee, now i think science canteen is a heaven! haha. I really do sound like i am stranded in an island for a very long time don't I?

Jurong pt

After lab on friday, went to meet up with a sec sch friend, yiwei. I had the shock of my life; 1)i left my thumbdrive in ices 2) Jurong pt looks so different from last time i see it which is one yr ago. Went new york new york to eat. As we were shopping ard, we saw the famous chef Sam outside the chinese gourmet restaurant which i think he work in...actually i didnt notice him de (as usual), but is my friend said he is beside me then i turned to see. muahahaha


i like waffle the best! soft! super nice smelling and taste!!!!!Best waffle ever!

GREAT New yr eve!

With a happp mood, we make our way to the venue where we waited for the countdown event at vivo. We joined as a capacity of jeanette aw's fan club. Haha. Am I a fan? Nope, i didnt watch any of her show b4 but i do know her somehow.Actually i want the countdown tix and cheer for elvin de.

We ate at Kim Gary hongkong cafe; endorsement of Bosco Wong...someone i dunlike. But yah, the food is nt bad; big serving at a acceptable price; abt 14bucks, gt drink, soup, and main dish. I ordered fillet fish as usual. Haha...feel pregnant after eating them.

Cream soup and vegie soup (vegie soup is sweet with tinge of sourness)

Yuan yang with tea (strong scent of coffee which taste like tea---the siapness)

Fish baked rice (different from swensens-western taste, coz more tomatoes and they added egg and herbal leaf that makes it tinge of sourness)


It is super fun!!! this is the 1st time i went to countdown. As a fan, u are really in front. U can cheer for ur idols. Really, they look really beautiful and shuai up close. haha.... It is a truly enjoyable night! Jeanette Aw nt bad; elvin, nat and dai yang tian are shuai. but elvin is more shuai....haha!!!! Me and Hx cheer for elvin and dai yang tian until voice super hoarse. Dunno why no one cheer for elvin, only we 2 madly shouted! His smile is so dazzling! PP, hx and me cheer for dai yang tian, he nt bad arh. Shy, reserved, tall and quite shuai. nt bad nt bad.

Most imptly, this time, we have the lightstick! it is essential to have it around! haha. for u to sway along with the music and songs! I gt the pink one, whereas hx and pp gt the blue one. Btw pink light stick is nt as bright, somehow it looks dim. yah.

Oh yah, we have enrolled automatically into jeanette's fan club coz we take part in this event. And i get to know a person in this event. We exchanged phone numbers; she is in jeanette fan club too

IP man

I have a surprise of my life. Today was mentally prepared to start a new synthesis but seems like my boss is on holiday mood. I cant start synthesis this week coz it is new and my starting materials take 3 weeks to prepare.i guess i can focus on doing my fyp slides and catch up with friends which may be a good thing. Really relax myself.

Wanted to watch IP man in the evening but since i have nth to do so happily, pp and i decide to watch in the afternoon. I took the 1 pm shuttle bus and was half-awake. I decided to eat @ pie-kia. Tried the cheese & ham and the roasted chicken; each has its merits. Cheese and ham has stronger taste whereas roasted chicken pie has a tinge of sweetness. I think there is an offer today because i was surprised that the pie cost 1 buck each when the label clearly says it costs 1.50buck each. Alas, the pie is super hot and burnt my fingers. haha. As i was ready to go into lot one and buy tix, i felt my phone vibrating. Was surprised that pp actually come down earlier. haha. So we buy tix and find toto booth to buy her toto. Gambler liao. keep encouraging me to gamble. After gambling deeds are done, we proceed to the cinema. Outside the cinema was a very long queue; we wonder why so many "xian" people are around on a monday afternoon. haha

I-P M-A-N is an action-packed movie. Nt bad at all. The actors and actresses are quite gd-looking i would say. I especially like the boy in the show! so cute! Especially the scene when the boy ride on his wooden horse? Gt one part he helps his mum relay the message to his dad who is the main male lead, ye4 shifu. The atmosphere was supposed to be intense because he is fighting with a bad guy then this cute little boy come in from nowhere using the wooden horse and relay message then go back into where he came from!!! For those who dont like violence, this is a no-no coz u keep seeing them fighting and the cracking sounds that come from broken bones.haha it is quite bloody but i think the cracking sounds are really too much. There is a touching scene at the back which can make tears welled up in the eyes. I believe this show has a storyline that is quite meaningful, kinship, friendship. Best of all, unity. haha...no. I have learnt a lesson, if i want to learn martial arts, i should learn YONG CHUN QUAN!!!! haha since it is the best martial arts eh.

After the show, we walk ard lot one. Bought us nice new yr clothes which look like 2 piece but actually one piece. haha. As chan2 ziu3 as usual, pp want sth to bite. I suggested to her a cheap way to relieve it which is chew on her clothes but she dunwant. Guess what she buy next? yah lor, anyone who knows her will know; Bubble tea! but this time is honeydew sago. I can only shake my head and say tsk tsk.

I am writing to myself

This serves as a reminder for me......... (Warning! nt a usual posting)

I have been thinking of stuff recently; probably because a new year is coming. There are flashes of events and incidents running in my mind; happy ones, depress ones. Happy ones of coz will be joyful. Depressing ones need to be solved in order to move on. I believe that i have been an escaper of stuff by not tackling the issue and just pretend that the problem doesnt exist. I have told myself a million times but I was naive to think that it would be alright. None of the problems would be solved if i didnt tackle it. No one is right or wrong. It is just that wrong things happen at the wrong time. As time goes by, a small thing may amplify into a large thing.

Today, i decide to make some changes and i believe that is what my heart feels too. I may regret the decisions that I have made but i decided to do what my heart says. Like the saying goes, u must fall before u can learn. Yep.

To the future me, I hope i would be a better person; more mature and tactful than who I am now.

Back to my 2nd home__lab

Muahaha. It has been a somewhat...funny sem for me as in i am taking exam for the sake of satisfaction. sometimes i think i am a bit psychotic. maybe i am, who knows.haha.Yep, after singing ktv (next day of my last paper), i have no more energy to watch another movie, so yep, i pack my bag for the next day which is today; 1st day in lab.

There are some changes to ICES. haha amazed by the noise level; omg 40 JC students attached here!!! luckily only 5 weeks, if not i thought i am going to market and not lab (buy 3 get 1 free, lay long lay long).

had a mini movie marathon on 19 Jun

rf, jason and i meet up at cineleisure to watch narnia and kungfu panda. Both are really really nice movies. i love it!
Prince Caspian!

High King of Narnia...king peter-the Magnificent.

1st we had narnia at 10.30am: IT was a very long movie, abt 2 h+. The show is pretty amazing becoz there are good-looking guys like the prince caspian and king peter.muahaha.... There are a lot of fightings and there is one scene that leave a deep impression in me which is the part when the narnians are trapped by the gate at the human castle. They just told those escaped successfully to leave....omg...it really reaches my heart and tears welled up in eyes for sometime but not long enough for me to cry though. I don't particularly hate any character in the movie, nt even the baddies. This reminds me of the duel b/w Peter and the prince's uncle. The uncle was at losing end and demanded a break and even more weirder is they bargain how many minutes for the break...muahahaha!!!!And nt 4getting King edmond who told his bro and prince to smile to the narnians...it is so funny.

After long hrs in cinema, my legs were abt to break, the space is nt big enuff for me to spread out my legs fully or maybe coz the seat is nt high enuff...i still prefer The Cathy near PS. I didnt bother to complain though maybe coz i am focus on coordinating my numb legs. We had long John after much contemplation. Jason bought the set which is new on the menu; basically it is a chicken set which is all fried but in different forms...muahaha....chicken popcorns, drumlets and the chicken fillet which all are familiar with. oh yah, speaking of which, go ask rf abt his 'chicken' story. whole day he mention chicken here and there. Rf and I ordered the normal set, combo 1. I still cant stand long john sprite. How come it still tasted like detergent. Yucks! But anyway, i manage to gulp the whole drink down into my stomach.

Just on time for another movie at 2.30; kunfu panda. we saw chong2 qin4 (A well-known DJ and host) with a small boy in cinema. Jason was the 1st person who spotted him; he was wearing a pink shirt, hair was short yah. He was just in the row in front of us (not directly, is diagonally). Back to the movie. I love the panda's attitide, he is just so enthu about everything, especially the passion for food. He had kungfu but he just didnt know it until his shifu saw how he get to all the food location with the oddest posture. I especially love the part when shi fu teaches him the kungfu...a way that is different from his other disciples. I like the master wu gui also. He is very intelligent and he has great kungfu skills. I wonder why all the great shifu need to have that kind of walking crane. It reminds me of the old guy in dragonball. haha. Throughout the shows, there are plenty of laughing points so i cant really point out the good parts. But i thoroughly enjoyed the show, probably becoz of children's laughter complementing the sound effect that makes the show so gd? haha.
His name is Po...sounds like tellytubbies (Po is the red one).


After finished watching, we made our way to the washrm (rf's idea coz he saw chong qin). He want to confirm it was him so he want to look at the front view rather than the side view in the cinema. It is really funny coz rf stare at him and he stare back at rf the whole time while he is waiting for the boy? Muahahaha. Then without a goal in our mind, we walk ard taka and wisma and tang and we waited for pp to meet us. We board by train and gossip A LOT. hahahahahah. Then each of us made our way back home.

This is the 1st time that i had a mini movie marathon. It is really tiring but i enjoyed my day becoz both movies are really gooded!
