had a mini movie marathon on 19 Jun

rf, jason and i meet up at cineleisure to watch narnia and kungfu panda. Both are really really nice movies. i love it!
Prince Caspian!

High King of Narnia...king peter-the Magnificent.

1st we had narnia at 10.30am: IT was a very long movie, abt 2 h+. The show is pretty amazing becoz there are good-looking guys like the prince caspian and king peter.muahaha.... There are a lot of fightings and there is one scene that leave a deep impression in me which is the part when the narnians are trapped by the gate at the human castle. They just told those escaped successfully to leave....omg...it really reaches my heart and tears welled up in eyes for sometime but not long enough for me to cry though. I don't particularly hate any character in the movie, nt even the baddies. This reminds me of the duel b/w Peter and the prince's uncle. The uncle was at losing end and demanded a break and even more weirder is they bargain how many minutes for the break...muahahaha!!!!And nt 4getting King edmond who told his bro and prince to smile to the narnians...it is so funny.

After long hrs in cinema, my legs were abt to break, the space is nt big enuff for me to spread out my legs fully or maybe coz the seat is nt high enuff...i still prefer The Cathy near PS. I didnt bother to complain though maybe coz i am focus on coordinating my numb legs. We had long John after much contemplation. Jason bought the set which is new on the menu; basically it is a chicken set which is all fried but in different forms...muahaha....chicken popcorns, drumlets and the chicken fillet which all are familiar with. oh yah, speaking of which, go ask rf abt his 'chicken' story. whole day he mention chicken here and there. Rf and I ordered the normal set, combo 1. I still cant stand long john sprite. How come it still tasted like detergent. Yucks! But anyway, i manage to gulp the whole drink down into my stomach.

Just on time for another movie at 2.30; kunfu panda. we saw chong2 qin4 (A well-known DJ and host) with a small boy in cinema. Jason was the 1st person who spotted him; he was wearing a pink shirt, hair was short yah. He was just in the row in front of us (not directly, is diagonally). Back to the movie. I love the panda's attitide, he is just so enthu about everything, especially the passion for food. He had kungfu but he just didnt know it until his shifu saw how he get to all the food location with the oddest posture. I especially love the part when shi fu teaches him the kungfu...a way that is different from his other disciples. I like the master wu gui also. He is very intelligent and he has great kungfu skills. I wonder why all the great shifu need to have that kind of walking crane. It reminds me of the old guy in dragonball. haha. Throughout the shows, there are plenty of laughing points so i cant really point out the good parts. But i thoroughly enjoyed the show, probably becoz of children's laughter complementing the sound effect that makes the show so gd? haha.
His name is Po...sounds like tellytubbies (Po is the red one).


After finished watching, we made our way to the washrm (rf's idea coz he saw chong qin). He want to confirm it was him so he want to look at the front view rather than the side view in the cinema. It is really funny coz rf stare at him and he stare back at rf the whole time while he is waiting for the boy? Muahahaha. Then without a goal in our mind, we walk ard taka and wisma and tang and we waited for pp to meet us. We board by train and gossip A LOT. hahahahahah. Then each of us made our way back home.

This is the 1st time that i had a mini movie marathon. It is really tiring but i enjoyed my day becoz both movies are really gooded!

I had watched 3 movies up-to-date; drillbit taylor (a comedy), made of honour and ironman.

Drillbit taylor is a story abt a bodyguard who was hired by the 3kids becoz the kids are being bullied in sch. The bodyguard is actually peniless and kind of wanted to cheat the kids initially but after some soul-searching, he finally decide not to:) It is a funny movie with some touching scenes becoz of the bond forged b/w the kids and the bodyguard.

Made of honour is a story abt a playboy who had intimate moments with a different gal every night. However, by chance, he encountered a girl who isnt interested in him and daringly speaks the truth of him. Hence, they become best friend and somehow, the male lead takes her for granted. The female lead went away to spain for a mth (i think...my memory could fail me after having watch long time ago) and the male lead feels that his life is out of place. He was shocked when she brings back a guy and intro the guy to him as her fiance. This is where the funny parts keep rolling in. hehe.....i enjoyed this movie too...a romance comedy:)

Ironman: a very long movie. This is a story that talks about how ironman comes about. The Ironman is actually a genius guy who makes M.O.D. But after being captured and able to escape alive. He became a different man as he wants to help mankind, instead of destroying them. There are some funny and cute scene. I enjoy this movie too becoz it is quite action-packed!

Movies aside,

pp wanted to buy portable hard disk and so went sim lim. We went shopping too after she bought her favourite pink drive. Yep, really persistent. The puff-looking cake at the mouth of the escalator at bugis junction tastes great. One cost 1.30bucks.
Then we went Mayim (@ westmall) to eat dim sum (suggested by pp) and yah...look ard for jeans for me..haha.

Last but not least...each of us had 3 xiao long bao. evil pp keep complaining that i eat very slow...i admit i no skill so have to eat slowly to prevent the soup (essence of the baos) from leaking too much...haha


My family and i had a dinner at ichiban sushi at bp plaza.

I also went to IMM to pass the result slip to my friend and i was too happy to see kids playing water in the garden outside IMM. how i wish i can do that too...hehe...and sneakily, i steal a few shots of kids playing water.




There was an insect exhibition on grd flr too...i am amazed by the variety of beetles and moths and butterflies and the variances from country to country. it is truly interesting :)

SAD!!!!

sian...althought i expected this sem's sap wud be the worst of all sem, i still feel the pain becoz my cap drop by 0.07!!!! Depress mode liao....gonna last for a few days i guess. hai....


ALAS, though i see failure now....i know sucess is calling out for me. Only if i experienced failure then i can have achievement and i know it is going to be sweet! so next sem, i await my sucess....

A long day outside

Met pp and hx at bt timah to look for hx's luggage. We had our lunch there; mutton soup, oyster jian1 and fried carrot cake. While eating, we reminisce abt the childhood days we had in this old shopping centre; beautyworld. some of the old shows seen during pri sch are still there, even the flr and escalator and the design of the shopping centre is still the same:) Then we walk ard the shopping centre and then make our way to the courts nearby. It is a multi-storey courts hehe. we had a fun time browsing thru appliances and furnitures and of coz had our free popcorns at the roadshow. rf missed a chance to grab this job.muahaha.

Afterwhich we made our way to cck interchange where we take shuttle bus to qianhu farm. We saw that the route we took during fri (* a walk from blk 400+ in cck to qian hu farm took us an hr +++) was actually the same as the bus route. We had our fish spa there. very cheap; only 10bucks for 30mins. If u want to fish longkang fish also can, 30mins for 5bucks. After fish spa, we explore the place. Qian hu farm has a great variety of fishes. some are really cute and unique. hehe.

wat a fruitful day

Today is the 1st day i started working (kind of). Meet pp, hx at Mac to have 2 dollars breakfast. Was the last one to reach ( hehe... as expected coz i stayed the nearest...). It was a wonderful feeling, recalling abt the jc days when i walk to sch from my home. Tried milo at Mac ( nv tried milo at Mac at all). Why i try milo today is becoz keep seeing pp drinking milo at mac and was thinking how come she so addicted daz why i made the choice. Then we made our way to the cck blocks to distribute flyers to each door. We were split into 2 grps; pp and sharon in one grp and hx and me in another grp. We were literally crying out in pain becoz the bags of flyers are really heavy(They shd make it lower quality though...so that it wun be so heavy?haha). We are drenched with sweat. Drank a lot of water and wasted a lot of tissues. It was a really dehydrating experience; how can singapore be so hot!
Though at the end of the day, we were all tired; some shoulders pain, some leg pain, some hand pain. We have gained 2 impt things, which is weight loss and money! haha....these 2 things are impt to woman eh....hehe.
Tmr doing the same thing but this time, includes distributing flyers to pri sch kids.haha...like wat hx said, hope we dun get pushed down by the kids who rush out of sch >_<

today going to town again

Just thinking about it, i have went to town for...5 times already since my final paper on 3rd may. Madness lol.i think i am more familiar with the envt in town now? haha. My friend, ww, charitably gave me one of the free tix she has gotten for me ( drillbit taylor....i think). Such a nice friend. haha...looking 4ward to watching this comedy movie:)

Hopefully tmr can distribute flyers soon. looking 4ward to it also coz can do it with friends :) plus earn money while exercising (++ near my house).hehe. so nice. muz thank pp for giving us such a gd lobang to ease our boredom.

long long hrs of ktv

woah! 8pm-4am+ of ktv can be very tiring. pp, sh, hx and I went kbox at cineleisure. It was our 1st time staying overnight for ktv. As expected, pp dian those old songs and she happily sing it. This time, the theme is '邓丽君'. Wah, luckily no one look into our room lor, if nt very paiseh,coz they will be shocked to see healthy youngster sing old songs until very shuang. muahahaha.

After the kbox session,we went to have breakfast at Mac. Along the way, we saw 'gangster-like' people idling their time away. It is really scary to walk along the street early in the morning (4plus am) coz the street is so empty! Even the vehicles become countable on the roads.Think it will be an additional fear factor during the ghost festival.......

Now i am half awake becoz i can only catch 4 hrs sleep after i return. i have no idea why i cant sleep. * definitely couldnt be too excited from singing old songs:P
